1. General body

A. GENERAL BODY

Functions:

1. The general body shall be entrusted with the Election/Nomination of the members to the Governing Body for the general administration of the affairs of the society.


2. To approve the by-laws/amendments to the by-laws presented by the Governing Body.

Formation: All members of the association shall form the General Body of Society.
Meeting:

1. i. The Annual & the Financial Reports of the Association shall be presented by the Governing Body at this meting. Special meetings shall be called when necessary.


2. ii. A meeting of the General Body may also be held along with the winter Banquet during January/February each year at some place outside Dehradun under the direction of the General Body

Notice:

Thirty days notice shall be necessary for holding a meeting of the General Body. The period of notice shall be necessary for holding a meeting of the General Body. The period of notice shall commence from the date on which notices are actually issued from the office of the society.

However, fifteen days notice shall be sufficient for Emergency Meetings, which may be called by the President
